Wine and Cheese reception following event.
Drawing on a lifetime of concerts and centuries of music, David Gordon creates unique programs of songs and poetry interwoven with colorful historical narrative. David's solo shows are vivid, dramatic presentations characterized by a keen sense of drama, deep scholarship, whimsy, goofy humor, and his endearing and powerful ability to tell stories and connect with the audience.
For 30 seasons David was a central figure in the Carmel Bach Festival where he was a soloist, Dramaturge, lecturer, and director of the Festival’s master class for young professional singers.
He has appeared as tenor soloist with orchestras and operas worldwide, but he also has a lifelong passion for acoustic music from folk to bluegrass. After six decades of concerts around the world, he’s created a personal retrospective of his favorite comforting and uplifting songs. It's a feelgood program, inspirational and positive.

“To let the moment teach us, we must allow
ourselves to be at least slightly stunned by it
until it draws us inward and upward toward a
subtle experience of wonder.”
—Fr. Richard Rohr
We normally need a single moment of
gratuitous awe to get us started. Join others
who are intrigued by “Going Inward and
Upward” for a day of instruction, reflection
and feeding of the heart, soul and body.
