Welcome back Max Afifi! This talented 18 year old pianist was a standout at the Carmel Bach Festival Young Artist Showcase in July. He accompanied a brass player, turned pages for another pianist, performed works of Chopin beautifully, then surprised the audience by returning to the stage to perform his own composition.
A senior at PG High School, Max has been playing the piano since he was 3 and studying with Barbara Ruzicka for the last 6 years. He was the first place winner in the senior division at the 2017 and 2018 Paderewski Youth Piano Competition in Paso Robles. “Music is my passion & I greatly enjoy both performing & composing.”
