Dear Citfers, Happy New Year!! We have the pleasure of pianist Mark Neiwirth, Steinway Artist from the University of Idaho, Pocatello, here visiting over the holidays. Playing duets with Mark is a rare pleasure, and a contact sport. We compete for space on a small playing field, striving to move rapidly and closely around each other without knocking the other off balance or endangering the friendship. The music lets us be both soloists and accompanists by turns, partners as we “ride the tiger” together. Sometimes we move exactly precisely deeply harmoniously together in a dance of beauty that is beyond language to express. Ahhhh!
EnJOY!
