Welcome back to Janneke Hoogland, cello

A Bay Area native, cellist Janneke (“Yanika”) Hoogland holds degrees from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. In addition to performing throughout the peninsula, she is the cello coach for Youth Music Monterey and has a studio of private music students.

Selections today for cello and piano are from a set described as peaceful worship music, inspired by Psalms and other excerpts from the Bible.
