The Monterey Saxophone Quartet was formed in 1991 by members of the Monterey Community Band. They played for various concerts, First Night celebrations, and organizational events. In recent years they have played for their own entertainment. Their extensive library includes a wide variety of tunes and styles, including baroque, classical, ragtime, popular and light jazz. There is certainly something in this eclectic musical palette, ranging from poignant to upbeat, that will appeal to you. I’m looking forward to total immersion in the entire spectrum.
