Welcome, Dr. Fred Burgomaster, organist, who is playing music especially selected for our 2-manual tracker action organ. The church’s organ was custom built by Greg Harrald of Los Angeles in 1992, as his Opus 12. Frederick Burgomaster is Canon Organist and Choirmaster Emeritus of Christ Church Cathedral, Indianapolis, and former conductor of the Indianapolis Festival Chorus and Orchestra and Indianapolis Baroque Singers. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Southern California and Master of Sacred Music degree from New York’s Union Theological Seminary. A former Fulbright Scholar, he studied for two years in Munich, Germany and in Oxford, England. He is a former president of the Association of Anglican Musicians (AAM) and a published composer. Dr. Burgomaster spends a good part of each year enjoying life on the Monterey Peninsula.
