Is a person who believes that there is even within the deepest darkness of any soul, a touch of indestructible beauty and holiness from God’s presence a naïve optimist; or someone with deep faith in the God of love—who is forever the Undiminished Light?

As we reflect on the wonder of the impact of God as forever being ‘Undiminished Light’ of God shining into our darkness, may we know the joy and peace of God’s forgiveness and mercy. May we each learn how to control our earthly desires; and to teach our senses to rejoice in the inspiring presence of God – who brings light into our darkness.

Here is a new resource (for me), The Biologos Foundation. Biologos explores God’s word and God’s world to inspire authentic faith for today. Biologos is a Christian advocacy group that supports the view that God created the world using evolution. Founded by Francis Collins, the 16th Director of the National Institute of Health and the only Presidential appointed director to serve more than one administration (Obama, Trump, Biden).

In 2006, he wrote the best-selling book The Language of God in which he tells his journey from atheism to Christian belief, showing that science is not in conflict with the Bible, but actually enhances faith. The outpouring of response to the book showed the need for a forum to ask questions, discuss issues, and learn from the top Christian minds in the sciences and theology.
